Are the candles phthalate free?

Yes! We only use phthalate free fragrance oils.

What size / how many candles should I order?

It all depends on what you’ll be using the candles for. A 4oz candle would cast a lovely scent in a smaller space like a bathroom, smaller bedroom, or the area immediately around a desk or work station. Larger areas might require one or two of our 8oz jars, depending on the size of the space and how intense of an effect you’re looking for.

When will I receive my order?

We process orders within 2 days of receipt, and we ship with USPS Priority Mail, which is a 1-3 day service. You can expect to see your candle within 3-5 days. Expedited shipping is available, just contact us for specifics.

What is your return/exchange policy?

We think you'll love these candles as much as we do, but if you're not satisfied for any reason within 30 days of delivery, please contact us so we can make it right. returns@bloodrootcandle.com

Do you offer gift packaging?

Yes! Just specify that the order is a gift in the notes on the checkout page and we’ll package it as a gift with a gift receipt.

My candle is tunneling (burning a hole down the core of the wax instead of consuming wax and wick evenly)

All of our candles are fitted with wicks that are chosen specifically to work well with the type of wax, the jars, and the fragrance oils we use. However, sometimes environmental conditions or minor flaws in wick placement or wax curing can cause a candle to burn slightly askew. The best way to avoid tunneling is to trim the wick before each lighting, and to allow the candle to burn long enough to melt the entire top layer of wax each time you light it.

My candle arrived broken/damaged.

We try our best to package and ship the candles so they’re protected until you receive them, but sometimes accidents happen along the way. If you received a damaged candle please do not burn it! Just snap a quick picture of the damage and send it to us at info@riosantonaturals.com along with a description and we will send you out a replacement ASAP.
